tasticsilver: “I started my content creation journey back in November of 2020 when COVID was impacting everything.
I started only playing one game, World of Warcraft, was extremely shy, didn’t use a webcam, and barely interacted with my 1-2 viewers. After joining a Discord community, I started getting more people coming in, I felt more comfortable talking and interacting, and we decided to run community challenges to try a different game and to unlock a webcam. They were both hit very quickly, to my shock.
Since then, we’ve gone full blown variety. While we stick to more cozy style games such as Fall Guys, Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, and indie games, we’ve slowly branched out into trying new content such as Overwatch, Cult of the Lamb, demos, and more.
I also hosted mental health and mindfulness content in the form of a Talk with Tastic talkshow. I invited guests or ran it myself, in which we discussed various mental health and mindfulness topics.
I always foster a fun, inclusive, and safe space, and make sure my community and others I interact with do the same.”
