YouTube is joining both Twitch and Mixer in inking streamers to exclusive deals and they announced on Monday the signing of three prominent gamers.
According to CNBC, Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, Lannan “LazarBeam” Eacott and Elliott “Muselk” Watkins have officially inked deals with YouTube, leaving Amazon’s Twitch in moves that will hurt Twitch’s popularity as the streaming landscape continues to evolve in 2020.
2019 saw a new trend in the ever-evolving streaming industry, as Mixer made a number of major exclusive signings, headlined by ‘Ninja’ leaving Twitch to join Mixer.
