Lior Lampert

Lior Lampert: “After earning an undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghamton in the Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in English, I chose to pursue higher education. As a result, I earned a Master’s degree from American University in Sports Analytics and Management.

Currently, I am a Paralegal at Alex Yadgarov & Associates, P.C., a personal injury law firm located in Rosedale, NY.

Additionally, I am a contributor at FanSided, writing content about the NBA, NFL, Tennis, and NCAAB, among other sports. Moreover, I am also a contributor at GMEN HQ, where I provide written content and coverage of the New York Giants.

Among other things, I have also written for Fantom Sports Industries, which served as another platform for me to share written content.

I also provided writing pieces for a sports betting and multimedia company known as The Hammer Betting Network as a result of a partnership with Betstamp.

This is my digital portfolio and I will use it to simultaneously portray my knowledge of English writing/literature and my passion for the industry of sport.

What fuels my passion for sport most is the comradeship and sense of belonging it provides. Sports unite people in ways that can sometimes be challenging to put into words.

Not to mention, I have tons of respect for the dedication, time, sacrifice, and hard work that athletes put in to perfect their craft and the way they perform on a field/court. It is a form of art and expression that I find to be poetic.

The NFL and NBA, and more specifically the New York Giants and Knicks respectively, have played a big role in my desire to further explore opportunities in the field and have helped shape my opinion about the industry of sport.

My goal is to find a way to combine my affection towards sports and knowledge of sports with the writing, analytical, and administrative skills I continue to develop to further establish my voice and immerse myself in the sports media community”
