Epic Games has had enough of leaker FNBRLeaks and has sent a cease and desist letter to the leaker over the distribution of modification tools, according to a report from Eurogamer (who shared the following comments from Epic Games).
“The owner of this account and others promoted and advertised the sale of game modification tools which violate our terms of service” Epic Games said in a statement issued to Eurogamer. “This is not directly related to data mining or leaking.”
Epic believes that FNBRLeaks “spoiled the game for millions of of people who play and/or watch Fortnite,” and that the leaks, and actions, have had an adverse affect on those players who “work hard to create and update Fortnite.” It’s hard to argue with that.
FNBRLeaks’ Twitter, Discord, YouTube, and Github accounts have all been closed.
