As the game continues to turn off players with it’s epic mishandling since launch, Anthem is now feeling the pain on Twitch streams as well.
Courtesy of a new post on Reddit, Anthem’s category page on Twitch is clearly taking a hit, as the follower count is concerning, but the viewership shows a massive decline in interest, not a good sign for a game that may soon be “dead” only a few short months following it’s launch.
Now, it is worth taking into consideration that those numbers were down due to the servers being down for maintenance, however, when servers were back online, viewer numbers still sat in a troubling range of 150-225.
According to Forbes, with the mass exodus of players, matchmaking is becoming more and more difficult on Anthem.
Although BioWare has claimed that Anthem isn’t going anywhere, the constant roadmap delays, misinformation, and lack of depth of the game has continued to dig a grave for a game that once had immense promise.
