Ninja’s move to Mixer proved to be very successful for both the Mixer streamer and Mixer as well, as the first weekend since his jump showed some astronomical numbers.
Ninja streamed from Lollapalooza this weekend, and Mixer promoted his arrival to their platform by allowing fans to to subscribe to the popular Fortnite streamer for free.
According to ScreenRant, Ninja clocked in half a million subscriptions during his first day on the Microsoft streaming platform, and Mixer saw a notable surge in mobile app downloads.

Currently, Mixer is the top ranked free app on the Apple storefont, the culmination of a meteoric rise over the weekend since the announcement of Ninja’s departure from Twitch, to join Mixer, officially hit the news wire.
