A twitch streamer with Tourette’s syndrome has come under fire for controversial comment made during he stream.
Sweet Anita, a partnered Twitch streamer and YouTuber, was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome 5 years ago and some of her ticks, including profanity-laden outbursts and popping, often are part of her streams.
Unfortunately, one of her outbursts has led to quite the backlash from the streaming community after she had an outburst saying “kill the Jews”, during a live stream.

Many are calling for Twitch to step in, including other streamers. She did issue the following apology for the controversial outburst:
I’m apologizing for last nights actions… I wasn’t in the right state of mind I was emotional and didn’t think it through. Sorry to anyone I offended.— lilchiipmunk🎀 (@itslilchipmunk) December 10, 2019
Now, this leaves Twitch in an odd situation, and it has sparked quite the debate amongst the community. It will be interesting to see how this situation is handled.
