Indian esports organization ConnectIN Esports has officially launched a brand new quarterly event series, the FIFA Pro League India tournament, which kicked off on April 8th and runs through May 31st.
ConnectIN has partnered with Esportznow as their media partner for the event, as well as SportzPower and The Fan Garage as their online partners. The double round-robin tournament format will see players competing in 18 league matches per season, with prize money and a trophy up for grabs.
“We are extremely pleased to announce the launch of the FIFA Pro League India for the top athletes in the country” Dhruv Khanna, Co-founder of ConnectIN Esports said in an official statement. “Apart from earning bragging rights for being the best FIFA20 player in the country, each of these athletes will also win attractive prizes. We are also glad that we contribute to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic that is affecting all of us.”
