TSPGCarter: “Hey there I’m Carter ! I’m a college student studying to become a video game developer and/or voice actor. Growing up I was inspired by all forms of media(video games, movies, anime/animations, and music) and continue to be so. I’ve been making variety content for 8 years total across 2 different channels, most of which is gaming focused. The Sub Par Gaming Channel (AKA TSPGCLive on Twitch) is my most recent channel and the one I’m most proud of. I strive to create positive, humorous, and engaging content that promotes mental health awareness, inclusivity, and gives viewers a place they can feel welcome and comfortable. My favorite types of content to create are: video game Let’s Plays (live and recorded), video essays discussing pop culture topics and tropes, and most recently vocal covers.

I feel what separates me from other creators is how close knit I choose to be with my community while also encouraging the formation of healthy boundaries both for myself as a creator and for my community. I strive to directly interact with every single person who stops by my streams whether they choose to become a regular or not. I always say that no matter who stops by or stays for my content as long as I can make at least one persons day better every time I create them I’m doing the right thing.

I also continue to learn and develop new skills both relating to streaming and my other interests in order to keep my content fresh and ever evolving. Through Gamactica I look forward to making new connections and learning even more to help me become the content creator I wish to be. I look forward to meeting many of you soon”
